About Me

I’m Sarah Leggett, an HCPC-registered psychologist. I work with people who are navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, or periods of deep uncertainty. But more than that, I walk alongside those who feel a quiet sense that something in them is ready to shift, even if they can’t quite name it yet.

I became a psychologist because I believe in the healing power of presence. The kind that’s consistent, compassionate, and gently challenging. My path into this work wasn’t a straight line, but shaped by life, loss, growth, and the slow unravelling of my own patterns. That journey helped me realise how powerful it can be to sit with someone who sees you clearly and doesn’t try to fix or rush you.

Therapy isn’t about diagnosis or direction. It’s about relationship, about creating a space where the parts of you you’ve hidden, silenced, or struggled to make sense of can finally be heard.

How I Work

My style is relational and integrative which means I draw from different psychological theories and therapeutic models, but always with you at the centre.

Some sessions might feel spacious and reflective. Others might be more focused or gently challenging. There’s no set script. Instead, we stay curious together, curious about what’s surfacing, what feels stuck, and what might be needed next.

You don’t have to be in crisis to start therapy. You might just be longing to understand yourself more deeply, or to unpick old patterns that don’t serve you anymore.

Whatever brings you here, my job is not to “fix” you. It’s to walk beside you as you reconnect with your own clarity, choice, and self-trust.

You Can Expect:

  • A confidential, compassionate space to be fully yourself
  • Flexible approaches tailored to your needs and pace
  • A non-judgemental process, grounded in respect and trust
  • Support in exploring patterns, emotions, and experiences that may feel tangled or overwhelming
  • Space for both reflection and change
