Therapeutic Services
Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all
Each session is shaped around you, your experiences, and what feels most important to explore. There’s no fixed agenda or expectation to approach things in a certain way. We take it at a pace that feels manageable, building a space where you can begin to make sense of what’s going on.
Whether you come with something specific in mind, or just a sense that things don’t feel quite right, that’s enough to start.
Therapy Services
I offer a range of therapeutic approaches, allowing the work to be shaped around you rather than expecting you to fit a single model.
This might include:
Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) for trauma
Counselling
I am registered with ACAT for Cognitive Analytic Therapy and trained in EMDR for trauma work.
I also bring experience in pain management and long-term health conditions, supporting people whose emotional wellbeing is closely connected to physical health.
This flexibility means we can respond to what you need as things evolve, rather than staying fixed in one approach.

Different Ways of Working
Therapy doesn’t always have to happen in a traditional setting.
For some people, especially children or those who find it difficult to sit in a therapy room, I offer more flexible ways of working.
This can include outdoor sessions or working alongside horses, where appropriate.
These spaces can make it easier to engage, particularly when being in a room feels overwhelming or restrictive.
Sometimes it’s about creating enough safety and movement for things to begin to open up in a more natural way.

If you have private or work health insurance, including providers such as Bupa, Aviva, Axa or Vitality, you may be able to access sessions through your policy. If you’re unsure, I’m happy to guide you through this.
For those who feel it may be helpful, I also offer the option of collaborative support alongside a qualified medical herbalist
This can provide a more joined-up approach, supporting both emotional and physical wellbeing where appropriate.
There is no expectation to explore this, and it is always led by what feels right for you. It is not a substitute for psychological therapy, but may gently complement your work in some circumstances.
